Long time

WOW---it has been quite a long time since I have been in here. Lot has happened since the last post.

Hubby has been laid off twice and then called back. June & August

No jobs hiring in this area at all. No one will even take applications.

Daughter has been very ill throughout the month of August

Step FIL has been through a lot and required us to be involved.

Things just seem to hit us, but through it all, we know God is there to help us through. Not sure what we were to learn from this, but I know it will show some where down the road. 

Youngest grandchild started Kindergarten this month and oldest granddaughter is in her last year of school. They grow so fast. 

Haven't done much scrapbooking either. Only for the reunion book. Which that will be raffled off. Can't wait to see everyone. Hope the weather is nice. It has been an ususual summer with lots of rain, only 8 days of 90+ weather, most of it has been in the 70's. I have wore long pants more this summer than ever. Even to chilly for capri's.

Long time

WOW!!! I didn't realize I had went over a month since the last post. 

Nothing any different happening. Updates on our son is he has passed the first round of the donor match, but still has all the tests to go through. He hasn't heard any more on when that will be happening. 

The family has been fighting the flu off and on for the past month. Gary & I have quit smoking. My friends on Skrap N Chat has been keeping me accountable for this, too. It has helped so much. But, other than that, there is nothing else to tell.

Been scrapbooking a lot and making cards for the church. I now visit the shut ins and they love that. Trying to get more involved in church. Love my church family.

Winter is still hanging on, but we are to get warmer weather by the middle of the week. I so want some more warm weather. We had a spring tease for a week. Felt so good to get outside and walk around. Can't wait to get the house opened up. Going to be putting out a garden this year, so it will help with the cost of groceries. 

Guess that is about it. Hope I can get in here to post more often.
